I love Christmas cookies.  I love to plan which ones I am going to bake and in what order. I love looking for new cookies to add to the menu. I came across this listing. Gourmet magazine’s archives of Christmas years past. Too cool. Every year I bake Sand Tarts and Spritz, which are made with a cookie press and designed to frustrate even the most patient of cooks. The trick is to freeze the cookie sheets. I also love Jam Poppits, a recipe off the side of the Gold Medal flour sack. I am starting to hurt for a new recipe or three to add to the mix this year.
