Okay…after a supremely frustrating inability to get online yesterday, I was determined to fix it tonight. I went to the Cox cable customer support center, got a new cable modem and came home and replaced the other defective unit. And it was a total “unit”. I finally got Glenn with Cox internet support services and he walked me through the reconfiguration of my laptop.
And I am (obviously) online. And….WIRELESS!
I feel like a mini-version of Rosie the Riveter.
