River of Stones: Day 8:
I closed my eyes. Breathe. Focus. Listen. Find your stone for the day. I am searching too hard. Too distracted. The tip of my left thumb is numb. Ignore it. Focus. The middle of my back needs a good crunch, every breathe hitches right between the shoulder blades. Keep breathing. I have tinnitus. My sacroiliac joints are stiff and sticky and really hurt. How am I going to focus with all this chatter?
Focus. Breathe.
Breathing hurts.
A metaphor? Finding my breath is not always smooth. Finding focus is not always so simple or readily available.
Instead of writing this morning, I will go stretch and see if I can’t find clarity there.
