Evan made his first Holy Communion on Saturday. He did very well and Mass went smoothly. What a joyous event. His Granny and Grandma were here. The most significant part was that Evan’s godparents, his Aunt Rosie and Uncle Rob were here. Their presence when Evan fully joins the celebration of the mass is huge. One day it will matter that his godparents came to his sacaments and renewed their baptismal promises. I love their committment and am grateful for their steadfast love of my baby Evie.
