Our new front doors were installed on Thursday. We had solid, windowless doors before. These new doors create an openess I desire when you enter our home. From the interior, it is light and the outdoors are more connected. The house feels more fluid and integrated. The previous front door was not welcoming.
 
This door opens our home up to our visitors even before we invite them in. The glass maintains enough privacy to protect us but keeps us from seeming to be hermits and recluses. Did we NEED new doors? Not really, but these new doors create a feeling, an atmosphere that better reflects how we desire our home to be. Our house has opened its eyes. It has soul and life within.
