Taking a vacation and going nowhere

I have been on vacation for the last week. My family was to travel to London for our Easter break. Instead, we chose to be frugal. We stayed home. We didn’t do much of anything. We ate at home. We made simple meals. We stayed up late and we slept in late. We lounged in our pajamas. The kids ate doughnuts. I lingered over my coffee. I did absolutely no official work. It was a delight. Some vacations can take you to the other side of Earth and instead of relaxing you they can leave you drained and stressed. The vacation kept us literally within 5 miles of our workplaces and I feel recharged, energized, positive and renewed. It is a perfect time to start my blog.
